Taken and very much cropped for effect, at RAF Waddington Airshow in so long ago 2008!Here two Avro Icons start to power up.. No introduction needed..
I'll just add that promptly after I shot this Vulcan broke! And the following two times I went to Waddington it broke as well lol
I finally saw her for the first time this year.. Now, I have seen her 3 times.. Truly an epic stirring sight..
I feel, in my heart she will return to the skies..
The public will not let her die,

I certainly hope the old V bomber graces the skies again one day. Same for the Concorde, hell I'd like to see them both at EAA Oshkosh !

Apparently, the French have kept a Concorde at flight ready state.. Will it fly, it would hugely expensive! Make the Vulcan look cheap compared to it!
Will the Vulcan ever fly again, it still has the draw to block roads and sell out airshows where ever it goes.. The 'Vulcan Effect' is huge here. I have a feeling as its flight time has not expired, it will fly again..
Over there? Unlikely, expense would be vast getting it there! Every flight here costs in the region of £60,000!

Probably the two finest Bombers ever built in this country from a time when we could be proud of all our manufacturing and engineering.
As an engineer myself I'm heartbroken at the continual decline and lack of industry in this country now.
