Description Taken at Bruntingthorpe, just before the wing of this Handley Page Victor swept over our heads, honest it did!
Home of the Cold War Jets Collection, its the best place to go to see jets run and go very quickly deaf!
This aircraft, is officially, though much against al known rulings, the very last Victor to fly, due to an accidental (yeah right), lift off.. 100 feet up, and side slip, its on youtube..
Home of two Lightnings, 3 Buccaneers and a VC10, Nimrod, also, a Comet and soon a Starfighter.. Plus various Provests, Hunters etc..

Great photo of this amazing and unique bomb plane, the Victors design I find cool and ugly at the same time, wish I could see it one day. Hmm did they have it and the vulcan in the war museum in duxford?

Yes, there is one at Duxford, and at Cosford alone with the last surviving Valiant... Its the only place you can see all 3 V bombers together..

They used to based near me when I first moved to Stamford (Wittering), with my parents..
They were then in the white 'V' bomber scheme.. This one, is in air to air refuelling..
