Terrific color, clarity, depth and background sky. Another fighter with tonnes of ordnance under the wings. Love the hanging wings, nose, and intakes on this old Harrier, mate, one hero of the Falklands war.

Awesome! I'm surprised the RCAF never had any of these.

The UK scrapped theirs..
The US, Spanish and Indian Navy still use them.. Does the word 'DUMB' mean anything?
Worse move ever made by this Country..

The nose on our US Marine Harriers is quite different, otherwise they look the same. Great shot, Rob. I haven't been that close to one since I was in the Air Force!

The Sea Harrier is different from your (and the RAF) version, the GR9..
The Shar was a specialised Naval aircraft mainly designed as a fighter.. With Short Take Off and Landing..
The RAF and the Marine version is a different beast.. But both were (are) great aircraft..
The British Government were outstandingly DUMB to sell them off..
I personally am still angry about it..

Yes, a very cool day..
Turn left as you look at this shot and the runway is..
I sat taking shots of aircraft as they taxied by! No barriers.. Lovely!
But it was a Family day, tickets to RAF personnel only and a few friends.. I was very lucky..
