Description Since the movie Star Wars Episode VII: The Force Awakens is enjoying its premiere in the UK today, one day ahead of us Americans, here is a picture of a British plane with a Star Wars-esque call sign.  Hawker Siddeley Harrier VTOL "jump jet" fighter XV748 was built in 1969 as a GR.1 fighter and later upgraded to a GR.3 fighter.  It is on display at the Yorkshire Air Museum as it appeared when flown by RAF Squadron Leader Pete Collins, who used the call sign Red Four.  In Star Wars Episode IV: A New Hope, this was the call sign of Rebel Alliance X-wing starfighter pilot John D. Branon during the Battle of Yavin.
