My batter half and I rescued a horse on Thursday...
Poor guy had bound his rear leg high in the air to a tree, with his tether. It was so tight when we happened across him that it had cut into his ankle. he was drenched in sweat and so exhausted that he was about to go down, which would have meant the end of him, I'm sure. I am so glad we found him there and were able to work together to free him.
His name is Slicker, and he's gonna be fine. (We became friends through our experience, He's my buddy now. )

Wow, thank goodness you were there. You are his guardian angel.
I'm so happy this ended on a positive note. It would have been terrible if he went down.
Was it a neighbours horse?

Actually we had stoppped on our way to work at a convenience store, and he happened to be tethered in a lot next to his owner's granddaughter's house, behind the store. Not a place we normally stop at all, and it's even more rare for us to drive around behind it too! (We were hoping to have an easier time making a left turn back onto the road).

They look like twins.

So, is this the first one with the new toy?

I'm glad you finally took if out of the closed.

I really like this version. It show the powerful muscles of the horse and the manes so well!
