If anyone got the title refrence, I will apluade you.
Anywho. Have my first semi sucessful Traditional pencil
computer scanned sketch guys! With Nathaniel tinkering and also having
a random human sitting atop his head while giving constructive criticism on his Oma Sphere!
Edited and filled in with shadowing and
detail work, I used my fingers for those parts since I still l don't
have a digital pen. TwT
But next time I'll go easy on the thick lines
and put more effort into my background. >w>;

Yes, I have heard of Beyonce. I'm not THAT clueless you know. Though I prefer more music from the 60's, 70's, and 80's and mostly rock 'n' roll and metal.Β
Steampunk is one of my favorite subgenres or genre to use. I'm writing a series of short stories of medieval fantasy steampunk. I have one episode on here too. I even have an idea to use steampunk for a space story. I know it sounds ridiculous to have steampunk spaceships but I just love the idea too much. Despite how unrealistic it would be for ships to be powered by burning coal.Β

Hm, I don't see why you couldn't do a space Steampunk?
Some people did pull off Firefly and that show is all about space cowboys,
it clashes allot but in a cool way. :Y

I was just playing
The thing about it, is having furnaces with steam escaping in exhaust pipes, I doubt that's plausible or practical. Firefly is in the future, and despite that they were the boondocks of the system, they still had the future tech available. I am doing everything I can do still use scientific reasons for things, though there's some magic involved. It's going to have a lot medieval, renaissance, and Victorian aspects to the world. And there'll be more than humans too. Β Β

I imagine the ship to look rather gritty and somewhat flawed looking, though I can see some pipes sticking out too. Big ships would have furnaces with crew of workers shoveling coal inside, engineers taking care of various boilers and tanks to make sure nothing gets overheated. Cannons would be placed along with guns. More cannons would be on the sides as with sea ships. Probably very submarine like, early submarines anyway. Still trying to work out the logistics of the fighters, since they're small and wouldn't have people shoveling coal in the furnace. Someone suggested radioactive rocks as fighter fuel. And they'd be rare and valuable so it'd justify why coal's used on larger ships.
