Nicole is an extremely friendly and loving person, although her tendency to be quiet and her resting bitchface seem to repel people quickly. She finds it hard to approach other people and start conversations, but once someone starts talking to her, she is very animated and friendly. She is always trying to make everyone comfortable in social situations. Once she is close to someone, she shows her more cynical and sarcastic side. If she is constantly insulting you, you should know that you are now considered one of her closest friends. Nicole is definitely better with pokemon than people and she loves the outdoors and adventures. She almost always feels instantly at peace in the middle of nature and she always stops to enjoy little moments of tranquility.

She is very smart, but is constantly second guessing herself and feels very slow and dumb. She is slightly neurotic and has to have everything always neat and organized, and likes to be extremely prepared for everything, but hates putting the effort of thinking a decision through, which causes her to make rash decisions and then instantly regret them. She overanalyzes and overthinks everything, which leads to self-doubt and insecurity when surrounded with people she wants to impress. She has a fear of disappointing others and hates people who look down on others or make snap judgments of other people.

History: Nicole grew up in Vasari Town and is very close to her family, she has one sister, Sam, and a mother and father, and all of them get along very well, except for the occasional family arguments. However, she always felt like she grew up under her younger sister’s shadow. She doesn’t blame her sister for this at all, but it was hard for Nicole when Sam did better in school or looked better in a dress. The only thing that Nicole seemed to feel better doing was connecting with pokemon. Nicole’s parents were both environmentalists, so she was very comfortable out in the wilderness and with dealing with wild pokemon and seemed to have a natural talent for it, reading the pokemon’s emotions accurately and preventing any fights.

Although Nicole had always dreamed of traveling and having adventures, her parents urged her to go to the town’s university and Nicole gave in not wanting to disappoint her parents. She did well, but had no motivation and quickly grew depressed dealing with the stress of school and making her parents proud. Nicole finally decided to stop going to college and escaped to start her pokemon journey as a master trainer. She didn’t tell her sister or parents and had to move from one friend’s house to another for places to sleep at night. Once she finally told her parents, they were extremely upset and ended up giving an ultimatum, Go back to college or never come back home. So Nicole packed up her things and left, getting updates occasionally from her sister on how everything is going and hoping that starting her pokemon journey was worth it.

Personality: Apollo is a very sweet pokemon, and generally gentle and laid back. He tends to be unaggressive in battle because he feels bad if he hurts anyone and so he overuses the move protect. He is very naive and wants to see the best in everyone, but if you put any of his teammates or friends in danger be prepared because he is fiercely protective to the people he is loyal to. Apollo loves to cuddle much to Nicole's disgruntlement, because even though she loves Apollo she hates how fast she goes through sweaters (not to mention money spent on aloe vera). He also loves to listen to Nicole sing or hum, even though she could definitely use some improvement in the tune category and is an extremely fast way to put him asleep.
