Hey here's a little treat I found for you today. Shown are some concepts for Ron and KP done by that he made early on during the design period of the show. Glad to see I'm not the only one who had issues with drawing her hair, lol.Obviously all rights belong to Stephen Silver, I just came across this and thought it was cool, similar to the alternate series endings I came across a while ago. I still would be cool to find some sketches of the original ORIGINAL design where she was a popular blonde. (Ginger everyday girl/tomboy was a better combo in the end anyways)

Vanellope: *giggle* Y' hair still looks strange, though...Reminds me of my own concept drawings. X)
KP: Yeah, 'm glad they stuck to the ponytail. Looks MUCH better on you than some of those multiple hair bunches they had.

Vanellope: What were they tryin' ta do, make another Ron Weasley? Anyway...He looks grumpy.
KP: Yeah, he does.
Vanellope: Who's that on the bottom? Dr. Drew?
KP: No. It's not Drakken. I think that's supposed my dad.
Vanellope: He looks like Dr. Drew!

Although not concept KP, I love the KP original artwork available at Living Lines Library including instructions regarding blushing and hair.

That's early Ron...but if you look at him and Kim it's not hard to figure out where the designs for Kim's parents came from.

I'm pretty positive it's what they eventually ended up with. A few months ago Silver posted on his Youtube account the very first raw "episode" ever conceived for the characters. (It was basically just story boards and voice acting) but it was very similar to the look of these sketches and the personalities were what you'd expect. The only major thing different, other than the hair was that the Kimmunicator had "It's a Small World Afterall" as the ringtone.

Well I had seen a small version of it in Silver's portfolio on his website (www.silvertoons.com) but I did some searching on Google and found better-sized versions. Also just updated the pic to put a couple more early sketches of Ron I found as well.
