I am planning on getting the Mk II and I have the 17-40mm lens also....looks like a nice pair!
Some peole have said that my lenses aren't good enough for the Mk II....which might be true for my Sigma 70-300mm f/4-5.6 DG APO Macro lens, but I think my Canon 50mm f/1.8 lens would be okay. What's your opinion of the Mk II with other lenses besides the 17-40mm??

even the 17-40mm seems like a shitty lens with the 5D mk II. I'll be upgrading to a zeiss 21mm or nikon 14-24mm soon
