Stunning! good colors great detail. Don't mention your flaws as most people won't pick up on them
I'm not so sure going lower would have looked any better anyway that mountain in the back fits perfectly, wouldn't want to clip the top.

I think the composition is quite good that way. If you had got lower there would not have been a rock semicircel which works good as kind of a frame!

Agree with you that the composition could be improved on, but the scene, and how you have captured it still remains brilliant. I love those clouds, and the colours forming all around the landscape, great exposure.
