Description 11" X 14" Watercolor plus white on Canson Oatmeal Scrapbook paper. I think I based this on a photo of a European Eagle Owl adapted from a photo by Quaddie. I can't find my notes. Quaddie takes wonderful photos of birds and his work can be seen by going to:

I don't have all the time I need to do everything I want to do. I love painting Owls, really all birds, but some are much more interesting than others!

Thank you, I redid them because the weren't exactly right the first time. I'm going to be painting more because I'm starting to know what I want to paint and how it should look! I love the eyes of owls, and I'm thinking of just doing a whole series of eye paintings!

Thank you Bleuie! I want to try some paintings with just brown tones, and that rich warm palette. Plus I love painting branches covered with moss, lichen, ferns, bugs and bromeliads.
