11" X 14" Graphite and White Pencil Sketch on Natural Paper of Kestrels.The Kestrels were drawn from the Great Photographic work of *eaross with his permission. His work is not stock, and is quite wonderful to see so be sure to check out his work.

I have already drawn one California Quail from your page, and will draw more. I will get more of these done because I've dedicated a complete album to this style, and type of drawings of birds. Buy yourself some pencils, kneaded eraser, and do it just for fun or to express yourself. It's good for you, and you never know where it will lead. Remember your wood block prints or linoleum cuts are really terrific. If there isn't alot of work at work fill it with drawing and printmaking. You never know what will come of it. Plus it's a great way to illustrate anything and work from your photos...there great!!

I've always wanted to try doing a graphite pencil drawing with white highlights, and I decided to do these in an album (blank) that I've had for a long time, and just fill it with birds done in this style. It's actually alot of fun. Glad you like them...
