The Death Korp of Krieg are interesting Imperial Guard units from Warhammer 40,000. This is my attempt at a crest style image for the Death Korps.*This web site is completely unofficial and in no way endorsed by Games Workshop Limited.

i am working on a very important project, it is a novelisation about the death krops.
I am currently looking for a cover which would suit the storyline perfectly, i am very interested in your art and was hoping that you would provide me permission to use this image as my cover, i am hoping that you will accept and reply as soon as possible

Very impressive. I could totally see this as a regiment banner. Although, the right head of the Aquila should be blind, it's eye closed.

Thank you. You're absolutely right about the eye. I wasn't thinking about that when I created the image. Over all though, I'm still pretty happy with the work.

I once made a single Death Korps soldier out of a Cadian Command Squad sprue. I took the body wearing the trenchcoat and filed off the shoulder pads. Then I gave him a Cadian head with a helmet that had shades on it, filed it down until it looked decently like a Death Korps helmet and put a gasmask over his mouth.
He looks pretty cool, but I don't know exactly what color the DK color their uniforms. I've seen different examples, do you know if this look is pretty typical of an officer?

Thank you very much. It's been some time since I last upped an image,that's do more to issues with time management rather than interest.
I do hope to get back to it before long as I have already done preliminary work on character creation for the next couple of images I have in mind.
Hopefully, when they are completed and posted they will be ones you find interesting as well.

Haha, I like how you gave him ALICE webbing instead of the WWI-ish belt/suspenders.
I have to admit I used this image as the excuse for using ALICE webbing for my DKoK cosplay.

I really like the way you set this up, it's a fine way to depict these masters of the trenches (and WW1 troops in all their grimdark splendor)
I'm looking into playing death korps too, if only the models weren't so expensive (forgeworld is a blessing and a curse, no?)

I am actually really digging the Death Korp series that Richard Marsden is writing over at [link] This was actually created before his series, or atleast before I read it, but it can still be viewed as a tribute to his well written characters.
