Dayum! There is no denying that Disney!Frollo would be so much more badass if more aspects of Book!Frollo were thrown in.
Just maybe don't faint when he's stabbing your boyfriend. Or do, if you're a Frollophile.

Thank you! Watercolours and inks are my favorite medium. And good that you spotted the reflection, sharp eyes!

Very, very intense. Somewhat disturbing, but in an effective way. I love how his expression is judgmental but also self-hating.

Yes, I think his inner darkness and his motivations are why so many people are drawn to him. Aha, yes, that is the Frollo we all love best! And it was rather a pleasure commenting on this (odd sentiment, but it's how I felt).

Cool! So that means will be having a blondish/youngish/fopish/Phoebus corpse as a Halloween treat? Yay, kudos to Frollo who knows how to stab...in every way!

Ofcourse, this crazy little chick (you!) sees the double entendre in my words. *high fives*
Gah, he's such a wonderful muse!

You're the first one to comment on the shape of the blood! Well spotted, chica! Thank you!

Ooh, this is so wicked and fierce! I love the red-eyed mist in his eye.
And his hands. God, you draw hands that I want to slide over my body. If I wasn't committed to this pinch hit thang, I would be writing about those hands. You are the hand artist extraodinaire. I don't suppose a Severus/Hermione hands pic is out of the question, is it???? I know I'm being soooo greedy, but your art makes me voracious for more!!!

Oh, I have been so busy the past few days love. When I wanted to sit down and draw you a little potion's master's hand art, my Muse just got up and flew out of the window, with gleeful laughter. It's been gone since. It's probably fed up with staying at home so much. Honestly, I think the muse is just as big of a "draaikont" as I am!

I sometimes forget you really like Disney Pheebs. More power to you, really. But the version of Pheebs that lives in my mind is as mentally crippled as the one in the book. He just hides it better beneath his air of bonhomie. (I am of course writing him as a bit of a git too, in Breaking Horses. That helps too.)
Did you notice the shape of the blood on the dagger?

Yes! I forgot to add that actually. I'll make it a double one, I'll even throw in Peter Gabriel for free! Thanks!

Poor Frollo.
You know what....I think witches in the Hunchback of Notre Dame would not have been out of place for the time period or the amount of stero-typing Disney did with the whole thing. Would have made an interesting twist, but there's only so much deviating from the original you can do.
Thanks for sharing!
