Description So, part of my experimenting and stuff... I wondered about a way to make pictures efficiently in colour, such as if I wanted to make a webcomic, and be able to churn out good quality images with speed.
Sure, it's not as good as my full digital stuff, but it does the job!

This actually doesn't use markers at all!
I have some copics, but I'm so bad with them, and haven't worked out how to get them not to smudge the lineart yet >o<
So I tried to recreate the appearance of traditional markers, digitally, using PaintTool SAI, with scanned pencil lines
I think it came out well!

Hoshii and art belong to me~

Would hairspray on the lineart work? Or photocopy it?
Nice to see you branching out, this does have a hand made feel.

Gah I didn't finish what I was saying >o<
Photocopying I already tried, it smudged that too

And thanks!
I'm finally getting to try all the different style ideas I've been having for years, thanks to the 3 month+ summer of university~

Hmm I haven't tried that. The problem I've been having is that they're soft nibbed alcohol based pens? (I think), and the nibs soak up and smudge certain pens, and pencil, lines like an eraser, but even 'washable' ink pens seem to smudge. I expected washable not to smudge. >.< I think I just don't understand enough about how these things work!

I was tempted to try buying one of Copic's own inking pens, since I'd imagine them to be copic-smudging resistant
I'll try hairspray too (not sure if it'll mess up the surface for colouring though?)
