really nice shot, a fav from me. a word of advice.. i think u can submit a image for print ie upload hi rez image.. without it being big on the full view page, there will be a lot of people that simpley print this out instead of ordering :0(

Imagine Stefan, how many working hours have been spent and how many hundred people have been involved to come with computer softwares and thousands of people make computers that people can create spirals looking like these stairs on their screens... And You found this spot and 'snap' took a picture with a camera... Looking just amazing good, interesting, fashinating and feels like one is sucked into the fall through the spiral... Great! ... Ofcourse the architect was first to draw the stairs, but You found the look!

Yeah, the final outcome of the picture has amazed me as well. No special lighting has been applied, in fact, the picture was taken in kind of a rush; during a guided tour..

I don't think i entirely agree; carefully executed and thought out photographs can have a powerfull message and yes, even soul.
It's just that usually mediocre photographs and ideas are cranked up to fit modern taste, that leaves the people with soulless pieces
Guided tours eh? Hm.. they can be fun
Old ideas too; if they stick long enough with you, they prolly are worth it to give them a try.
Lack of inspiration further... hm.. that can be a real dread.
What usually works for me is to get out of the daily routine for a couple o'days and don't think of art or inspiration at all. When i return i usually feel refreshened, not only of body, but also of mind. Inspiration then pops instantly.
Also talking with other artist has helped me. For example one gave the advise to try to capture 'wind' or 'light'; impossible things to capture straight away, but with a little creativity it is very possible and gives unexpected results.
