Description
(So it's been a loooooong time since I've given any of my newer OCs a full on profile sheet. Doesn't actually have all that much information on it but I put more descriptive stuff in the Bio below. After making OC after OC, though it might be a nice change of pace to actually make a male OC for once. Thought he'd make some good male drawing practice since that's not something I'm used to doing. Don't know why, but I tend to find guys harder to draw. But I'm actually really happy with how this guy turned out and kind of eager to draw more of him. So here's all the info on this latest little dude of mine.)

Backstory
Much of Luke’s history is unknown, mainly due to the fact that he values his anonymity. It’s what’s kept him alive for this long…. well, sort of. About the only information he’s willing to divulge of himself is how exactly he managed to gain his powers and of course the frequent boasting of his “harrowing” thefts. His thieving lifestyle begin when he was 15, just the occasional shoplifting here and there in order to provide for himself. But he was good at it. Eventually his crimes began to grow greater in scale and it didn’t take long for the criminal underworld to take notice. He was soon hired by various crime lords and taking on jobs that required his stealthy skills. And he was paid quite handsomely for his ventures. Now, from the money he earned he could easily quit whenever he wanted and live out the rest of his days quite comfortably. But whenever asked why he does what he does, he simply replies with, “I have my reason”. But it would be that “reason” that would cause him to make the worst decision of his life. At the age of 18, he took on another thieving job. Nothing special, get in, get out and bring the goods back and collect payment. It was something he’d done a million… only this time when he got back his client had suddenly decided to pay him less than they had arranged. Much less. As in nothing. Of course Logan protested, angrily screaming how he needed the payment. But his complaint only lead to him being thrown out of his client’s office. Honestly, getting stiffed was just another hazard in his line of work. But he needed that money. He won’t ever say exactly why though, he just claims that it was important he got it. And he WAS going to get it. And he did it the only way he knew how. He stole it back. Unfortunately though, he didn’t get very far with it. He underestimated the amount of connections his former client had and he was easily tracked down. The last thing he remembers from that event was getting ambushed in an alley and the loud blast from a gun as a single bullet lodged itself deep into his heart. With the money retrieved, they then just left Luke there to die. And he was going fast. But right before he slipped into permanent darkness, something completely unexpected happened. Unbeknownst to him, a meta-human gene was lying dormant within his DNA and had never been tapped into before. Until now. As Luke lay there quickly dying, his meta-human powers surfaced and adapted to the situation in an effort to keep him alive. He’s not sure how long he had been unconscious but when he woke up he was in for a surprise. Course the biggest surprise was the fact that he even woke up at all. He felt the spot on his chest where he had been shot and he could still feel the gaping indentation where the bullet entered. But oddly enough, it didn’t hurt. Even his appearance seemed to have changed. His hair had turned solid white and his eyes were pitch black with glowing white pupils. As jarring as all of this was, it seemed that in its own odd way he had been given a second chance at life. And from his standpoint he now had two options. One, he could put his thievery behind him and put his newfound powers to a greater use….. ooooor he could use these interesting new powers to further his thieving habits and really rake in the cash. It’s not much of a surprise which one he chose.

Powers/Skills
Ghostly Phasing - Basic walls and barriers mean nothing to Luke as he can pass through them like they weren’t even there. This has quickly become one of his favorite abilities. In this form he can’t be touched or hit. However, he also can’t touch or hit anything either while like this. So when stealing, he can easily get in to a place but he has to become tangible again in order to pick up whatever it is he’s taking.
Invisibility - Being able to walk past an entire group of guards without anyone being the wiser? What’s not to love? Even so, this ability still has some setbacks to it. He might not be able to be seen, but he is still technically physically there so he still has to be careful to not bump into any of those guards as he’s strolling through. He can also be detected from the fact that while invisible he gives off a sort of cold aura, but that’s really only a problem if the person knew that it was Luke giving off the chilly presence.
(NOTE: Luke can only use his phasing ability and invisibility separately, he can’t do both together as it’s too hard to try and focus on maintaining two abilities at the same time.)
Regenerative Healing - Depending on the severity of the wound Luke will heal much faster than a normal person, causing his wounds to heal over ranging from within a few seconds to maybe a couple of hours. However, the only wound that won’t seem to heal over is the bullet wound in his chest, which incidentally still has the bullet in it. He’s not sure why but he doesn’t really question it much. He also has a much higher tolerance for pain now, as if his senses have deadened a bit after he, well, “died”. So even something severe as a stab wound he could easily shake off and only feel half the pain it would normally cause. It still wouldn’t be pleasant, but it wouldn’t hinder him too much.
Temporary Possession - Honestly, not one of his favorite abilities. It could be an extreme advantage to have, but it’s rather tricky to pull off. This power is kind of an extension of his phasing ability in which he will phase into the body of a person and take complete control over them. However, this only seems to work when the person is completely unsuspecting of his presence. So trying to use it in a fight won’t work. The person can easily shake off his influence and force him out. And when that happens it’s actually rather painful to Luke and will sap a great deal of his energy, leaving him in a somewhat vulnerable position. So unless he knows he can pull this ability off with absolute certainty he doesn’t really use it.
Flight/ Hovering - Another ability he loves. In fact, whenever he’s alone he’ll just be lazily floating around on his back as if he were relaxing in a pool. Who needs to walk when you can float? This is the only power he can use together with his phasing or invisibility ability as it doesn’t take much concentration for him to do it. In fact, nowadays he almost has more trouble just trying to focus on keeping his feet on the ground when in public.

Weaknesses
- Iron metal. This is Luke’s biggest disadvantage to his powers. He can’t phase through anything made out of the metal and he can’t even pick anything up that has traces of Iron in it without it resulting in burning his hands. And if there’s a big enough object or anything nearby made up of the metal it can instantly cause his powers to go on the fritz or completely shut them down altogether.
- Although stealthy, Luke really isn’t much of a fighter. After all, when he’s breaking into places the point is to avoid anyone, not confront them. Even so, he has learned a few effective moves for the sake of self defense but overall anyone actually trained in fighting could easily overcome him. His one saving grace is that he might not be much of a fighter, but he is an EXCELLENT dodger. So much so that he doesn’t even use his phasing ability half the time in a fight. He prefers just constantly avoiding his opponent’s throws. It’s much funnier that way.
- The sunglasses he wears all the time aren’t just for looks. The new appearance to his eyes that he got when he gained his powers came with one minor flaw. They are extremely sensitive to light. Thankfully he does most of his jobs at night anyways, but during the day he keeps them on all the time, even when indoors. But he also wears them for the fact that his new set of eyes tends to draw odd looks from people. And really the glasses just make him look cool. But yeah, their mainly for the sensitive to light thing.

Personality
Ever since his little experience, Luke has had a completely different attitude towards things. He’s more lighthearted and enthusiastic than he ever was. In fact, it’s rare to catch him when he’s not smiling whether it be a full grin or just a small smirk. He now tends to see life as one big joke and doesn’t take most things seriously. This stems from the fact that now he’s even harder to kill so there isn’t really much for him to worry about. This also causes him to be extremely overconfident with himself and just downright cocky. But when he’s not being arrogant, he’s acting smooth and flirtatious. If he isn’t hitting on one girl he’s hitting on two. He is, however, semi gentlemanly when doing so. But this flirtatious side of him is normally just for the fun of eliciting a reaction. After all, he knows first hand how short life can be. So what’s the harm in a little flirting?
(As always, RPs are always open I also wrote most of this at like two in the morning so please give me a heads up if you find any typos or anything and I'll fix 'em.)
