"I AM SO SORRY, CAPTAIN!" Sasha's voice rang in the mess hall from the kitchen nearby.

"Isn't that potato girl's voice?" Reiner questioned, halting his conversation with Bertholdt.

"Hey! Don't call her that," Connie interjected, pointing his finger at Reiner, making him smirk a little.

"Let's go check up on her, guys," you suggest, getting up from your seat, and helping Armin to stand up, seeing that he was sitting on the floor reading a book.

"I bet she ate the winter's food reserves," Jean snickered as everyone walked to the kitchen. Standing in front of the kitchen's door, you find Sasha, bowing apologetically to Captain Levi, a couple of chocolate streaks surrounding her mouth. Your heart raced a little when you saw the Captain standing angrily, tapping his foot on the wooden floor. After all, you did have a crush on him for a long time now, but no matter how much your friends would nag you to confess to him, you'd immediately refuse.

"What is going on here?" Hanji's loud voice comes from behind, startling all of you.

"We were just about to ask the same thing, squad leader," Krista replied, her piercing blue eyes looking a little worried.

"Tch, you are all extremely irritating," Levi crossed his arms, walking towards the door as everyone fearfully made way for him. Not having time to back away, Levi bumped into you, making you wince a bit as he glared at you. You gulped and muttered a low "I'm sorry", but he was soon out of the kitchen.

"Well, that was awkward. So, can you tell us what happened here exactly, Sasha?" Eren started talking, rubbing the back of his neck uncomfortably.

"I found a chocolate bar on the kitchen counter while cleaning, and I felt like it was calling me to it, like it wanted to melt in my mouth with all its chocolaty goodness. I could even smell its aroma in the kitch-"

"We don't need the detailed explanation, it's not a literature class. But it was nice seeing him angry; he looked like an angry hamster," Ymir smirked, maintaining a chilled expression on her face while everyone erupted in laughter at the comment. Despite your crush on him, you couldn't help but laugh, too. He did look as cute as a hamster. An angry and cold one, too.

"You didn't know that this was Levi's?" Hanji laughed harder than everyone, wiping the tears off of her face.

"Wait, Captain Levi likes chocolate?" Connie asked, his laugh dying out a bit.

"Likes chocolate? Hell, Levi probably has the sweetest sweet tooth to ever sweet tooth in the history of sweet teeth," Hanji said, making everyone gape at her. "Why are you all so surprised?"

"Don't know, I always imagine people who have a sweet tooth to be the exact opposite of a cold, stoic short man," Ymir threw another comment, resulting in everyone laughing hysterically again.

"Well, now that you know, how about we all go for a stroll in town? We don't have anything to do today, and I gave my babies a rest," Hanji stretched her arms then wrapped them around Armin and Jean's necks.

"Y-your babies?" Armin wondered.

"Sawney and Bean!" And with that, everyone let out a defeated growl as they walked out of the kitchen with the lunatic squad leader. However, you stood in your place, not moving an inch, until you felt a presence behind you.

"You know how to make chocolate, right [F/N]?" it was Eren talking, making you nod your head calmly.

"It'd be a perfect way to tell him your feelings," Armin suggested, resting his hand on your shoulder.

"I-I guess you're right, but what if he doesn't like it?" you spoke, trembling at the thought.

"We've tried your chocolate before and he'd be an idiot if he doesn't like it," Mikasa snapped, "And you could always add a little poison in them."

"Mikasa!" Eren, Armin, and you whispered loudly in unity as you eyed Mikasa, earning a glare back from her.

It was showtime.

You were grateful that it was quiet around the HQ, seeing that Hanji and the other cadets were still having their stroll around town, while the others were sleeping in their dorms or finishing off paperwork. You held a [preferred colour] box that contained your handmade chocolate close to your chest, feeling a little self-conscious at the action you were about to do. Taking a deep breath, you made your way to the Captain's room, your heart picking up on its beats. You started thinking of how he might react, and whether you should escape by running from the door or jumping from the window. Well, considering that you'll be embarrassed after he rejects you, the window will seem as a better choice. Halting in front of his door, you started to shake the discouragingly dreadful thoughts from your head as you knocked on the door.

"Name and business," Levi's cold voice sent shivers down your spine.

"Cadet [L/N], a-and I have a delivery for you, sir," you managed to speak in the hazy reluctance building up in your heart. You opened the door after hearing his approval, shifting your hands behind your back in order to hide the box from him.

"What is it that you'd want to annoy me with at this time, cadet?" Levi asked his eyes not leaving the paperwork laid in front of him for a second.

"I'm sorry, sir, but there's a delivery for you," you mouthed out, feeling your cheeks ache from shyness as you semi-regretted coming here from the first place.

"From whom?" he inquired.

"From m-me, Captain," you started revealing the box the held the chocolates, which had tiny red chocolate hearts sprinkled around. You were an expert when it came to chocolates, indeed, but no one knew that except your closest friends. You can make any type of chocolate anyone could ever imagine, whether it came to the taste, shape, or even colour. It was one of the several things you held pride in, but it seemed to tumble down in front of the cold-blooded man you deeply loved and admired.

        Levi's eyes shifted from the papers to look at you, eyeing the box carefully as you observed the mild bewilderment that adorned his features, which he obviously did his best to hide. He took his reading glasses off, got up from his chair, walked over to where you stood, and positioned himself between you and his desk. His eyes remained as icy as ever, but then he motioned to take the box from your hands, his fingers brushing slightly over yours, and leaving an igniting sensation that caused goosebumps to spread throughout your delicate skin. Without any word, Levi placed the box on his desk, took a piece of chocolate between his fingers, and placed it in front of your mouth.

"Eat it."

"B-but, sir-"

"Did I stutter?"

"No, s-sir."

"Then you better stop stuttering, too, and eat the damned thing like I order you to, you fool," he hissed, his eyebrows furrowing lightly over his gunmetal blue eyes.

"Yes, sir," you spoke in a firm voice, more stable than before. You tried to avoid his menacing gaze as he placed the chocolate in your mouth, but it captivated you to no end. Levi's hand, which was free of chocolate now, rested on your waist, while his other hand took your chin delicately, and in a swift movement, you could feel his surprisingly soft lips locking with your tender ones. Your eyes widened in surprise for a bit, but started to gradually close to cherish the moment. The chocolate goodness was melting in your mouth as Levi worked his own magic on your lips, and with every movement his lips made, you could feel the butterflies in your stomach already spreading out to your chest and head, giving you a mesmerizing feeling of love. His hands made their way up to your neck, pressing you closer to him, his tongue begging to enter your mouth as you wrapped your arms lovingly around his torso. His fleshy muscle tasted every inch of your chocolate covered cavern, making him savor the chocolate you made and the general sweetness of your mouth and tongue.

            Cursing the nature of being humans who need oxygen to live, you parted your lips at the same time, taking in deep breaths to compensate for the ones stolen in the most wonderful way possible, a way that made both of your hearts skip a beat. Levi rested his forehead on yours as you read his breathtaking eyes for a new emotion you haven't seen him show before.

"Would you like to us to finish the rest of the chocolates in the box in the same way, [F/N]?" you saw the ghost of a smirk tweak at the corner of Levi's lips.

"I'd love to."
