This is finally ONE of my drawings that I have done of Alan Rickman, my future husband btw, because this one I could actually scan without ruining the drawing in any way. This is from 1988, just before Alan was playing Hans Gruber in the Die Hard film-he has the beard and the cocky look all ready to go too. I ADORE Alan Rickman, he has the sexiest voice by far-I choose all of my possible bfs by their voices FIRST. He is such a wonderful and artistical British actor and he should be awarded in every category (but he always gets 2nd place!! GRRR!). He is the greatest actor to play a villian's role in 90% of the films he is in, he fits the profile. But I must stop myself-I'm begin to make myself drool again.I drew this in about 2 hours, I took my time on it because I wanted to make it look perfect. I messed up on the shape of his head-I think just a tad. Everything else looks great. I could have done better with the eyes though... *sad sigh*

I like his eyes and his expression, you capt exactly how he is, the nose and lips are a little odd bud nothing special, all fits in the style you have.
Is him Ed? I mean, the character he represented in Janury Man. I love him in that movie, well... I love him in all his movies but I really like him in this one XD

I only ever noticed 'confused look' and 'eyebrow raise' I wait for them in his films and count them. Confused look!!! That one's his favourite.

I actually like what you've done with the eyes, this has a sort of hint of the caricature about it, but with a hefty wad of realism thrown in. I think a lot of it is down to the quite amusing expression he has going on. The cocked brows, the "Yes..and? I *am* the great Alan Rickman...did you expect any less?" look...

I love the crazy looks he can pull off...I can't have my drawings have boring faces-I just doesn't work that way. They must have a funny face, or a hot body-or they must be doing something different. And I hope Alan is thinking that because he is the greatest Alan ever. LOL.
