Thanks. Amazingly, I am often contacted by film festivals that want to play this thing, both on this continent and in Europe. It's going to be shown at a festival in Spain in a few weeks. My work sure travels more than I do!

Thanks a lot. I'm really pleased you liked it. We are planning on getting into the movie business in a serious way (serious as in diligent, not grim or humourless, of course). We just shelled out some pretty serious coin for a good camera, microphone, steadycam setup, etc. so now we've got to learn how to use it all. Our first paying gig was a music video but I hired cameramen with their own equipment for that. It's here, if you're interested:

Thanks a lot! I have to say, as much fun as it was, that music video was possibly the hardest I've ever worked in my life. I mean I hardly slept for weeks getting stuff ready. That damn fake chihuahua took me three days to make! And then while we were editing we had to look at those gals dancing over and over again, and you can imagine how tough that was!

I ain't surprised. The editing is always the "I want to blow my fucking brains out" part of film making. I can only imagine how many hours of footage you had to sift through; considering how many shots that vid has. That's pretty cool. Didn't realize that you made the fake chihuahua, figured you ordered a toy from the internet. Hope sifting through that footage didn't make you immune to nice asses. WANT MORE OF THESE TYPES OF VIDEOS!

heh, heh. The editing IS a pain in some ways (I make my son do the heavy lifting with that) but it's also where magic can happen, and watching those gals dance over and over wasn't really a chore (the cameramen are still talking about the one in the cutoffs) but my wife started to get a bit annoyed with me after a while! And that chihuahua was totally built up as a sculpture around a screen door spring so it would twitch violently whenever the guy moved and I glued all the hair on and coloured it to match the real dog . I was please with it but, yeah, it takes a long time when I'm just making everything up out of my head. The exploding amplifier effect wasn't quite as good but what the heck. We hope to do some more vids soon and I'm thrilled you like 'em since I have the feeling you wouldn't say so unless you really did. I appreciate it!
