Also, the railroad may have to do with the Underground Railroad and how escaped slaves followed it and the North Star to freedom.

I find this picture very nice. The colors are vibrant. As well as the concept. The vines sure do add to the touch. I have always wanted to take pictures like this but just never seem to find the time.

Beautiful. I love the tranquility and grace of the tunnel away from the outside and how the tennements show how dark the world is (Am i extrapolating too much??? *blush* sorry i do that) I love it. Good job

to make the little light seem brighter i wouldve found some way of darkening the other stuff outside a little more. taken at a later hour perhaps. other than that i like the angle and i like the looking out appeal.

Another great picture! What I like is that you could have so easily lost definition in the shadows because of the light, but you didn't. You can still see some outlines of graffiti and definition in the walls, and I really like that. Sometimes you want to lose that definition, but here it works best if you leave it how you got it.

This gives me very fond memories of playing Half Life 2. The architecture of the tunnel and the buildings in the background are very reminiscent of the game. The lighting's great, not too dark - and the focus is perfect.

Nice shot, to me this is less the fact its a tunnel...and more that its an different perspective on urban life, usually with tunnel shots, theres some lovely greenery just ahead and you can image a lovely place. That tunnel just leads the grime of the streets! The composition of the shot is nice, and the focus leads the eyes from the tracks to the ivy leaves. I can't say this is an exciting shot but each viewer will have their own interpretation...and I quite like mine

Nice perspective. I like the fact that the tracks arent straight in the middle of the picture. The only thing I dont like that much is the overexposed sky.
