the Three AMIGOSI inked another artist pencils the "traditional way" and I didn't like it so I came up with the "Choat Way"..use another artist pencil work-add my own pencil work-add items or take away items-my own inking and shading style I am developing..
"the Three AMIGOS" is based on the pencil work of the artist Jim Lee..
Stay Tuned-My next piece I will use the "Choat Way" on is by the artist Gabriel Dell'otto
I call it "HYBORIAN and the other KNIGHT"

Thank you-I checked your art and I can see you have a passion for art.I just started last September so my art is constantly changing..I don't know if it will help-but one thing that really helped me is Superhero coloring books.They show the most basic lines so you will learn- proportion,action,perspective,muscle structure and basic details too add to your art...practice nothing but line work at first-no coloring or shading yet...Once your line work is as good as a coloring book then start adding small details-after that,add your shadows and shading when you learn about which way a light is coming from....Thats are much as I know for now.I have experimented with some coloring but I find that I am not ready for that yet.. So,simple lines that can be found in a coloring book(that way you don't focus on shading and colors until you are ready..I hope this helps some-I'm self taught with less than 1 years experience and this is what helped me...If this helps you-then pass the advice to someone you can help one day

oh really? i never thought of that! i usually just look at the people in comic books for help with muscle structure and such but thats a much better idea. i'm pretty good with lighting and whatnot, but my linework could use some work. thanks for the feedback!

For some reason I don't mind helping you with your art-if you want I will put you on "watch" and give you some useful tips if you promise to use them and teach them to at least 1 more person and they have to do the same and so on..just a thought
