Description
Seen as one of the weapons used by Capt. B.J. Blazkowicz, the STG-60 is seen in the most recent game, Wolfenstein: The New Order. The STG-60 is an updated version to it's 1946 counterpart seen in the game, issued to members of the Nazi Empire dominating the world. The Kreisau Circle captured many of these from dead Nazis they've killed in the past and have also used them for the front entrance as a means of defending their base in case they come under attack.
It is a select-fire assault rifle with an improved rate of fire and recoil than it's predecessor, making it more accurate as well. It's magazine is significantly larger than the previous rifle, which makes it logical to assume that it is chambered in the 7.92×57mm Mauser cartridge in a 45 round quad-stack magazine. The weapon also the use of an oversized underslung mini-rocket launcher for more damaging results. When the launcher is activated, there is a side-mounted iron sight which allows for more accurate aiming and since it lacks a seperate trigger mechanism, the rifle's primary serves as it's trigger when switched to the launcher. The launcher's maximum ammunition of 8 rockets before having to reload.

In reality, the STG-60 is based on the STG-44, the Heckler & Koch G3 and FN Fal.
