Description
Even though Earthrealm is protected by gods and the Elder Gods alike, Shinnok is one who looked to rule it. Initially an elder god from the heavens, Shinnok is the son of Kronika and brother of Cetrion. His fall from grace came when he began lusting for power and desire to rule Earthrealm. His creation of a dimensional weakening amulet would allow him to almost succeed had it not been for the intervention of thunder god Raiden. He even attempted to take Earthrealm's Jinsei, but was first beaten by Johnny Cage, but later, beaten by Cassie Cage. He would soon get his head taken off by a corrupted Raiden and brought it to the Netherrealm, as a warning to them not to start a war with Earthrealm.

As an Elder God, Shinnok is very powerful, mostly coming from the Netherrealm and darkness. He is capable of shapeshifting, but has to defeat those in combat, as well as having them serve him. Shinnok is immortal, like any other god, as well as enhanced powers with his amulet. His powers also allow him to conjure massive skeletal hands to attack his foes, as well as lifeforce manipulation and absorption. He is very strong, fast, durable and agile, but can be injured, however incapable of death, as he is a god.
