I actually started to hate the first pages after some time, since I don't really liked the way how the characters turned out. Temporarely I thought about reworking them, but nah - not anymore.
With the later pages I was more satisfied though I wish I had more time and talent to make 'em look better.

Oh man, there ar so many old comics that I can barely look at, and even the IDEA of re-doing them makes me wanna shudder. I seriously don't blame you, for not wanting to re-work them but they look great as is. And since I just started the comic (and I like the art quite a bit) if you say it gets better that's just like a special bonus.

One thing though is that there seems to be something mixed up a little. Nick isn't the first fox around that neighborhood - he is a "first time visitor ||| and ||| (a) fox in a bunny crowded neighborhood.
And you wrote "grantees" instead of guarantees - or is this a legit short form?

It's really a mind bender at some points. Body and gender swapping - humans being reduced to mindless livestock farmed by the giant worms that eat them. It would be an impossible but amazing movie to make.
