this is a drawing of my OC Hikari my main character in my new manga
i think she looks awesome hehe though i did the cell pretty badlythis picture is of her just after she has been kidnapped and experimented on finding she has new ears and tail

mmm not so fond of the cell in general but hikari is very good and i like her pose it took me ages to come up with it then make it look good =x

Naw, it all looks good :3 I think the cell really portrays her loneliness in the picture. It looks so empty... and Hikari is very tiny compared to it all, so she looks extra-lonely. :3

mmm i just wish i did the shading better i was aiming for it to be really good but later i noticed the shadows should have been on a different angle and stuff its a little off like the shadow that takes the whole left corner of the cell do you notice its a straight line across the bar and everything if it were a photo or something the shadow wouldnt be like that oh well i tried

Yeah, I see what you're saying about the shading. But hey- shading isn't easy. It takes a whole bunch of practice, and it can be very confusing sometimes,
especially if you're someone who doesn't fully understand the concept of light and the way certain objects project a shadow.

yeah i mean i'm good at shading but some things you cant fix and i noticed the mistake after doing it it all takes practice lot and lots

little bit of bad news though... i dropped out of level 5 art doing level 4 now x_x;;
i had no choice i fell to far behind with the theory
but then again what my art teacher says is that it may be a good thing saying maybee i was taking it too seriously and now with the weight lefted i may be able to do better work finding i'm free to do what i want - the theory =x

I think I agree with your art teacher, and plus, it gives you more time to learn even more about drawing and stuff, and get even better as you go.

yeah i do agree aswell but it just feels... kinda wrong to be doing the class i did last year again this year... i mean that will be the second class i'm repeating this year...
1. jewellery and craft (i get to make my own jewellery! though i wasnt good enough to do stage 5 so had to repeat the same class, doesnt matter so much though because since i did all the projects last year i can do my own projects without gettin told off for not following certain rules x3)
2. art (this one i thought i'd be fine doing stage 5 but i guess not x_x)
