"The Book of Zatanna"

During the time of King Arthur, his most trusted wizard, Merlyn, kept all his works and spells within the confines of a single book. At Merlyn's deathbed, he finally passed the book on to his loyal and most trusted assisstant, Zayal Zatara.

Through the years, generation upon generation, the book was not only passed on through the Zatara family, but it was also added to with new secrets, spells, and powers. However, something unexpected happened in the 1500s.

The Zatara family briefly became a family of cultists, worshipping dark, evil magic, and putting their own sinister spells into the confines of the book. While the family eventually regained their senses, the spirits of the dark magic remained.

In the present day, the book is in the hands of magician and hero, Zatanna Zatara. However, when magic was fluxed following the Crisis, the dark spells were released, leading toe Zatanna to be the one to gather them and bound them in the book once again.

However, how far can one woman give into the darkness before it leaves a lasting impression on her?
