Description
This was a concept for a race of elves in a real time strat that never made it. Most of the info is on the picture. The art is still copyrighted by the company that was making the game as far as I know, but I've got rights to post it on the net. Just don't run off with it and say it is yours. How did you go about making this kind of art? Was it like a sketch and scan or directly on the computer?

I drew it, scanned in the lines, and then colored it in photoshop

love the detail (me= detail fiend) and the contrast of what most people think when they think unicorn. erm, even if it is a "dark unicorn". cool concept and i love how the head under the tome seems to disappear just a little into the rest of the tack. at first glance, i only saw the blood spots and was like "WTF??". hee

Well, they would have, but the company never got to finish the game. i still got paid and all, but one of their big producers pulled out before the end. And thanks. =]

Nah, they just told me to do a dark unicorn and let me go. I even added the rider bit, which they loved. I've never had as cool a job as that one. And it was so long ago too. =[

No, I'm pretty sure they disbanded, their site is gone too now. Which sucks, because of the few people I talked to that worked there, they were all awesome guys.
