Description Autumn is a time where the vegetation takes on some interesting coloration... like this one.

Used only Linear.

Green version here: [link] I think it's a bit monotonous.

Apophysis 2.05. Fractal parameters available on request. Tell me if you need a larger sized wallpaper, or if you want this image in higher quality.

EDIT: Due to a high master scale, it still looks grainy. I rendered this with 4000 Quality.

Thanks! Though I don't think I'm going to create so many leaves in the near future, I think it can be quite repetitive. Thank you!

Sometimes Apo does some unexpected things that make me go, "Wow!" This was done using Linear variation only...

Thanks!

this is quite lovely, have you tried it on a 400 render, wondering what that would look like.

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

hyruwen In reply to samsende [2006-10-21 08:47:58 +0000 UTC]

I rendered this in 4000 quality. The master scale is set at 100, so it's a bit grainy even when rendered at high quality

samsende In reply to hyruwen [2006-10-21 09:03:01 +0000 UTC]

what is a master scale ?

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

hyruwen In reply to samsende [2006-10-21 09:45:47 +0000 UTC]

Oh, sorry you didn't know that.

The master scale is like zoom, only that when you zoom in using the master scale, the speed is preserved, but the quality isn't preserved. In other words, if you input a higher master scale, you can get your picture rendered faster then if you use zoom, but grainier.

There are two ways to adjust the master scale. One is 'Reset Location', which is auto-zoom. The other way is the manual way. On the Adjust window, there's a tab called 'Rendering'. The master scale is at the bottom right corner.

Hope that explaination works... ? Try it out

hyruwen In reply to samsende [2006-10-21 18:08:18 +0000 UTC]

It's okay for you to upload it to your deviations without dedicating to me

I saw your note, yes, it's beautiful, and go ahead - upload it to your deviations! Maybe you can try changing the gradient for aesthethic purposes?
