Wow. I'm loving this.
I personally have a hard time with ribs. You did a really awesome job with the details. ^.^
The hair is just phenomenal too. I love how it drapes over the shoulder. Very nice. =3

Ribs are fun. (: I like to ignore the placement and how many there actually are and just do what looks right.

Thanks. <3

you, my love, are astounding me still, this shows moe then a step in your art, it's a giant leap into a whole new level. You wow me with not just the emotion in this picture but the meaning behind it, this wretched figure hunched over conveys more then just oh look how sad, it's a deep gut wrentching sorrow. How A) you came up with the concept for this picture and B) how you pulled it off without it coming of as cliche, i will never know. On the topic of cliche's, i'm glad that this picture isn't like oohh sad emo!! IMA CCRRRYYY AND SLIT MY WRISTS!! It challenges that cliche with the word 'ristine' being on the figures arm, i love that suttle detail, how it makes the emotions this character is feeling beyound physical, it brings them into a whole new stratosphere of emotion. I applud you for showing such a deep meaningfull understanding for the concept of symbolism. You really are showing so much depth in this single piece and man i will soo but a print!! loovvees

awww thanksss i love you. (:

gut-wrenching sorrow... that's powerful man. i'm glad that you think that i have managed to evade the clichΓ©, that's the trouble with pictures like these... they enjoy eating up clichΓ© emo sorrow like none other. you know me, i do love my pain beyond the surface. (:

you flatter me so, what with words like depth and new levels and stuff... >w< i'm glad you appreciate my symbolism too.

you'll have to journey through the intricacies of finding a place to adequately print this then, because DA isn't worth it. One, i get like 15 cents for it and two, i would have to have a papal account or some other method of clever payment which i do not possess.

I like it in black...and i think DA ruined it...You can't see the intricate shading that makes it look sooooo astounding...i still love it here though!

well more likely, my scanner ruined it. you can't blame everything on da.

i like the softness of the red but i like the isolation of the black so i just donno. xD Rofl. well we can probably do it either way if it comes down to it so me you and jess will figure something out if you still want it and such and yes.

i love the back bone structure and the seemingly fusion between the character and the hair apparently consuming the individual in to nothingness. the lack of facial expression creates even more potential for interpretation. it's great.

back bone was funnnnn. (:

i tend to neglect faces in my more emotional pictures. thanks.
