That's something I don't know how to do, you can request it from the coder, there are 2 credits there, she does the coding. I just do the images. I know absolutely nothing about code, lol... sorry.

Hopefully she has time to change it for you, I would if I could. I don't even have the files I created to be used in the code anymore.

I might be interested in coding this, but I wanted to know if you found anyone else before I sent you a note. (A note on cost: If you just want it for yourself it costs money, but if you're looking to offer a skin to the community I don't charge.)

Indeed I have asked someone else to do it and she's considering it. But she is indicating that she might not be able to, she just wants to see if she can first. If she can't, I'd be glad to have you code it. I don't want it for myself, this is meant for everyone to use.
I can understand charging for a personal one. It's just like when ya go to a store, you want something you buy it. It's the same concept for that I notice. I understand that and I'm alright with that. In time I might wanna make a personal one. I had thought about it and discussed it with people before.
I'll have to deviantWATCH you and try to remember you. There are so many people on here that I have added and I have trouble keeping up with them if they don't have me on an IM account somewhere.
I'll be sure to let you know if she cannot code it for me, that way we can collaborate on this project. I appreciate your interest. Thank you for commenting.

Thank you. I don't know if this could be added to any of your groups, do you have a section for anything like this?

As for the art itself, no the deviation does not fit any categories in my groups. I'm sorry.
TheLivingCanvas accepts ARTISTIC photos of body modifications where the mod is the focus of the photo.
Camera-In-A-Bubble accepts any type of water photo such as rain, a drinking glass, the beach, etc.

I really do love the dark color scheme here. You have a really good sense of coordination of color mixing. The dark grey with the vivid yet soft blue, which goes so nicely with the red wood grain. I really do enjoy this. Sorry to fave and run earlier, had some serious playing with my new camera to do!
I really am not ready to CSS another big journal design like this, and would like to start on another one of my own, and maybe fix up the others I've already done. Looking back at my first one, I see a lot of areas it needs improvement. Sigh....
Been so busy playing and spending moneys that haven't had time to work on any of the CSS I was planning to do. Bad thing is when I plan to do things for other people, I feel rushed. I generally like working on my own so as to not have anyone waiting or depending on me to deliver. I am a notorious procrastinator. I know you said you don't mind, but I'd rather have greater skills before attempting anything of any magnitude.

Thank you, everyone seems to say I blend colors together rather well.
Oh okay, as I mentioned before, I knew that would be the case in the back of my mind. I just wanted to ask to be sure.
I'm glad that you have helped me with my first one. I wish I could code myself but I cannot... my brain just can't comprehend it.
I will find someone eventually to code it, but most likely most won't do it for free. Most want paid for it, and I don't wanna pay for something that I can't really keep anyway because it's being used as something related to deviantART and not something I own personally.
I'll be playing and spending money here soon. I just got out of court a few hours ago and I'm getting more money... I mean I got more money than I know what to do with. I have never seen this much in my life.
I have a plan to get things that are needed more than wanted. So I'll be set for my future and not struggle as much. I'm finally moving up in the world and I like it. I can finally pay for a real coding service to code my .PSD of my website template for me into a working website.
I am happier than I've ever been in my entire life right now, and it's all thanks to whatever it is out there that controls the universe and made humans...
Maybe when you feel up to the task we can work together on journals in the future again. Maybe even more than just journals. I intend on making more CSS stuff available to the world via my own website eventually. Templates for many different services, and also including the deviantART Journal Designs.

I have a friend who may be hiring me freelance to work on CSS for her occasionally. Maybe I can introduce the two of you? ~eastcoastpoet She's started her own web design business. Still very small, just herself I believe. But I'm sure she would like to network with other designers to collaborate on projects or exchange business with each other. I do not know her credentials or portfolio. She has been a friend of mine since High School. And she's a published poet. I know she does like to network with people of similar interests.
I'm glad to hear of your fortunate circumstances. We could all use a turn for the better ;D Must be very exciting to see your future unfolding and your work with your website to come together. Of course, the journal I worked for you, you may allow others to use that as a template for Timeless. I don't mind at all. Good luck with your business!

Sure go ahead and introduce us. If for some reason the person I asked to do it yesterday isn't able to then I could consider having your friend code it. I just need to find out if this person I had asked already will be able to code it. She's indicated she might not be able to.

You mean your web design, right, not the DA journal? Just making sure before I talk to her.

iareruss In reply to gillianivyart [2010-04-08 19:27:13 +0000 UTC]
No, I thought we were talking about the DA Journal. But yeah, the Web Design does need coded right now. Alex a friend of mine hasn't really gotten to it... he's too busy it seems. I'd pay for the coding if it is reasonable. Most coders wanna charge $700 at the least... that's too much for this project.

Well this wouldn't require any custom CSS. You'd just install it and put in your journal content and title. It's all suppose to be static so that it stays within the main code and you don't have to change or add anything yourself (but will leave it open so you can, for those that know CSS).

Only thing you'd have to do is put in URL's for the navigation and the Info parts below the Feature header area.
