Description So I notice alot of people including myself had always wanted to make their own custom style iGoogle theme. Well now you can, and this is mine. Right now every theme you make will only display correctly in Firefox, Chrome, that I know of for sure.

I didn't try in IE, but I did try in Opera, and it doesn't display correctly in Opera as of yet. Anyway if you'd like to make your own, or learn how, go to the following website:

[link]

Note: If you don't wanna share your theme with others, make sure to not make an account, just click on Create Theme. If you have any questions refer to the site, or you can ask me, since I know already.

PS - I know some might already know about this site, but in case you don't, I'm telling you about it now.

Yeah I use Opera for everything but that now. I have less problems on Opera, and it's so fast for me. But I emailed the owners of the site about it, they should fix it.

This is awesome, I didn't know about this.

Also, I've been using Opera lately as well, it's really fast for me too when my ISP isn't having problems.

Well with facebook, Opera don't work that well either. You try to play with the apps, like FarmVille, and it freezes, and locks up too much...

For the most part, all of the sites I visit regularly work fine with Opera.

This site has a problem with the avatars, but Chrome does the same thing.

Well deviantART, in the messages area, has problems with alignment in Opera, and Chrome. But in Firefox, and IE, they are right.

Hmm, just installed the latest build of Chromium and the alignment issues are gone. Last time I ran Chromium it had the issue, so I guess it was something they just fixed.

What is Chromium? I thought the browser was called Chrome?

Chromium is the open-source version of Chrome. It is sort of like the nightly builds of Firefox, and it's updated extremely frequently.

It's supposed to be more private too, and doesn't include any of that Google tracking stuff.

Oh okay. Well if I go and download it from the link you gave me there, and install it, will it replace the current version? Cause I have bookmarks and stuff that I wanna keep.

They may install separately, so nothing should be overwritten. It may also import your bookmarks and other things automatically being there is another browser installed and no other steps would have to be taken.

But just to be sure, you can do one of two things.

The first being exporting your bookmarks. You can go to the wrench icon at the right of the address bar and click bookmark manager. Then you can click the Tools drop-down menu and export them. Once Chromium is up and running, you can simply import them again at the same location.

You also have the option of syncing your bookmarks and linking it to your Google account.

If you click the wrench at the top right you can click synchronize my bookmarks, log into your Google account (assuming you have one), and then it will take care of the rest. When you install Chromium then all you need to do is log in and sync them again, and they will carry over.

Hopefully that helps!

Yes that helps alot thank you. But one question... um will anyone else be able to see every bookmark I have if they visit my Google.com page or is it not like that?

You're welcome.

I don't think anyone will be able to see anything. I just double checked myself and I can't find any page that reveals your bookmarks and information synced with Chrome/Chromium.

Maybe I'll try, I hope it will be not to hard... ...I'm a bit "slow"!!
Nice job by the way!

Shouldn't be hard, just a few options to fiddle with, and set your image you created to go behind it, and then preview to make sure it's correct, then save it if it is, and then set it as your homepage.
