WELLL these are my shoes...
Seeing as my old shoes (these: [link] ) have become completely unwearable due to four years of being so worn out that they now have holes in the bottoms and have literally fallen apart... xD
So I got a pair of blank white converse for christmas and I decorated them myself!
This is pretty much just black metallic fabric paint and red for the backs.
And marvel at the pristine condition while you can... I'm sure they'll be super gross looking in a few months. Just as converse ought to be. xD
and ummm as far as custom shoes go... I'm afraid that wouldn't really be plausible unless you want to pay a LOT. When you figure in the price of the shoes and shipping with the time it takes for me to do these, it doesn't really make sense. I won't be taking commissions until June anyway though, so eh. -shrug-

Eeee, love these. My Converse are worn out, painted on, Sharpie-d on, I still wear them after they were used and abused all throughout high school, concerts, etc. & i've been done for nearly 3 years now. ^-^ It'll be a sad day when they go.
Also, my favorite part is that little angler fish there. He makes me happy.

As long as you're willing to pay for 'em! It'll be the price of the shoes (usually around $40 unless I can find 'em for cheaper) + the cost of me painting them (around $35?) + shipping (not sure but probably between $5-$10)
So yeah, rather pricey. That's why I didn't expect to be selling many shoes. But if you're willing to pay, I'll totally do it. Can't remember if I talked to you about that earlier, but yeah. xD

Nowhere... the one existing pair lives in my dorm room and they are now much more muddy and gross looking than they are in this picture xD

I want to try that with my shoes. But I got black converse hi-tops because I wasn't really sure if I'd do good in drawing (or painting) on my shoes. I mess up alot in my drawings.

I have a question..When you did your shoes, did you just free hand paint it? Or did you sketch on them with pencil first?
These really inspired me to do my own, but I'm not incredibly familiar with paint so I've been sketching with pencil on them first and was just curious as to how you went about doing yours C:

I still have 3 and a half years to figure that out... but I'm going into illustration, thinking about children's books or some kind of character/toy design. Possibly a graphic novel here and there. C;

that sounds awesome..im sure you'll do great wherever ..you would probably be good in designing a videogame....peopel like you are really applicable for that stuff ...especially with your unique style of drawing you could porbably make you rown themed game and present the idea to a company

LOVE! i bought myself a pair of knee high chucks for my birthday...zip up in the back...they r simply the shit...i think ive sharpied then scotchgaurded all my converse thru all the years...lost em all too...not drawing on the new ones tho...great design on urs...have fun wearing em out
