Thanks so much! My biggest tips are to go for it and have fun. This costume is what got me into propmaking; I didn't think I could do it because I didn't have any wood working tools at the time, so I just went for it and made the shield out of foam board, reflective chrome posterboard, and paints. I hope you have fun and have a great learning experience with your Link costume! Good luck.

I might have to follow your example by using foam and posterboard for the shield, because it seemed to turn out really well for you and I would have to better ideas than that. Also, I've never done any props before...
I'll be sure to have tons of fun with it, and thanks for the tips! ^.^

Yay, that's great! Good luck! I also forgot to mention in the last post that I covered the back and the rim with vinyl fabric before painting it to give it more dimension.

Aww, that is a most unfortunate incident. You could always procure the Master Quest for the Game Cube or Wii, if you own any of them

I don't have either of those. D: I'm sadly one of those gamers that has to wait about 5 years after something comes out console wise, before i can get it. ; ; (once DS's hit 30$ I'll be able to get one. T_T)

Thank you! I remember that the pose was very painful to hold, but the result in the photo was absolutely perfect!
