Description This is the final result of the grand piano I modeled. I made everything in Blender Cycles and rendered it with 1200 samples for 5 hours. I tried my best in the last 2 days and I guess it didn't turn out so bad. I'm always open for constructive critique, so I would be very grateful if you take the time to share some of your thoughts. Thanks

I love the spotlight effect on the bench. Everything has a dusty feeling of waiting. I notice the higher gloss in the legs of the bench, I think a little sharper reflection in the vertical surfaces of the piano, too, might bring it out more?

You're right about the sharper reflections. That would definitely look better. Also now I know how I could've added the window to it (by using a second render layer) but I don't think that I'll go back to edit it after so many months. I will definitely remember everything for newer projects

Wow, the lighting her is absolutely fantastic, so dramatic and intense! I think the piano needs a bit more texturing so it looks less plastic-y, but overall this is absolutely gorgeous!

I like it. The lighting and the shadows gives out a sense of eeriness and atmosphere.

Wow this is great! I love the soft light and the dark shadows, gives the picture a really gloomy and atmospheric feel

Lovely piano, the dark lighting is pretty atmospheric and I think the old, brown sheet music is a nice touch too.
You can really see the dust in the air around it. Makes the whole scene feel a bit sad, though, since it's been forgotten and all.

Thanks, it was meant to look sad. I took a scene from Your lie in April as reference and if you know that anime, it's very sad.

WoW, thats cool, really cool work. Well done.
The only thing I could see, is that it seems that there is no glas in the window. but could also be your wish that there is no glas, I don't know :-D

The atmospheric light rays did not seem to work with glass in the windows. And the whole scene was to dark with them. Thank you
