Happy birthday Bucksttabu !!! This is my little birthday surprise for you
i chose to draw Richard... again
No surprises here. The photo reference for this drawing I used for Yoga Pants 2, but since it's a comic, I couldn't afford to be very detailed. But this handsome face deserved some more love, so yesterday, I drew him again. I kept the sketchy style, but went further into the shading. I could choose another photograph, where he looked younger, but I wanted a more recent one. He looks aged here, I know that. But to me, he couldn't look more perfect, more masculine, more handsome. He looks better than ever and age looks really really flattering on him.

I have been thinking the same thing many times - Richard does look better and better. I actually didn't really like him when he was young. Too... blond... too... bulky, beefy, somewhat too aggressive for my taste. Since Mutter he started to become a little calmer, very confident, a man that knows what he wants, how he wants it, which is always sexy...
Whoever knows the man, is a lucky person... He seems to be very down-to-Earth, well balanced and nice to be around. Easy-going probably too... We need to find out in person
I am also a super big fangirl... You think you are childish... wow. it's not childish to empathize and to look up to someone you admire. It's amazing
