An Eldar Harlequin from the game Warhammer 40,000 by Games Workshop. They are masked troops who perform dances when they're not out slaying enemies.CGI Painter Classic. The face was based on a portrait of a Carnival masquerader from a magazine article. I don't have the original any more, or I'd cite it...

I needed a cover for a Harlequin codex I had printed from the Gamesworkshop site and I found this on google and put it in the center. It is my favorite Harlequin art piece on the interwebs. I've been trying to relocate it for a while and I just remembered I'd seen it here. Funny how these things work out, that years later I should inadvertently stumble upon it again. This work has been very meaningful to me, and I am now finally able to thank you.

your stuff is so vivid! you do it just right, enough brightness to add color and variety without overdoing it... very mysterious looking image. kinda spooky.

I like it a lot, I like the way you capture the ever changing aspects of the harlequins mask, whilst im really impressed with how youve captured the look, try to remember that the harlequins mask is said to be able to evoke any emotion or feeling, including terrible fear and dread, since it changes constantly, that would be my only criticism of it, that its too 'nice'
in any case, its cool more of the same plz
