About time to resurrect this project! It's been quite a while since I last painted a dwarf!This time I went for Thorin. I'm afraid I'm painting all the most interesting dwarves first and will never ever paint all of them, but we'll see. Maybe the movie shows some of the dwarves in a totally different light.
I have no idea what I was trying to do, other than just paint Thorin. Then I got tired and the background and the body and the snow were basically just doodled in. xD But okay, this is still an improvement from the latest digital dwarf picture I did!

O.O Oooooh my Thorin... lovely lovely Richard. Blimey... this is so gorgeous! I find all the dwarves interesting but of course by story design Thorin is the most important and interesting dwarf. (although if I had to pick who I would rather hang around and buddy up with, it would be Bofur or Dori/Nori/Ori because they just seem the most fun XDD )
