Reminds me of the paper we had in high school for charcoal and chalk pastel drawings, I guess its supposed to catch the medium better or something? Though I'm not a fan of the spotted paper look, this is pretty good. ^_^ Has a nice painterly feel to it.

It wasn't scrap paper, it was just unused

Great choice of subject. I know that paper, I'm sure I've used one just like it before. Though every time I do anything on it, it always looks like a child's crayon drawing (not sharp and professional like this). I'm not cut out for traditional mediums!

Yeah, anything with too rough of a tooth isn't too good for colored pencils
