Description After receiving news that Rob Liefeld is working on Deathstroke, I felt nostalgic like it was high school all over again.

He did, but not as absurd as the one Liefeld always makes his character have.Β

well duh liefeld always has to make something absurd. im surprised he didn't give deathstroke a pouch gun and aΒ catapult attached to his sword

I will confess, when I was young. I actually liked the characters he created. As a kid, I really did not pay attention to all those wrong anatomy or details. Or the logic behind everything Rob draws on his characters. For me, it was more like "Oh snap! Double barrel pistol. Cooool!!" Seriously. It was more fun back then when logic need not apply to everything, specially in comics.

90's shit that needs no logic and is now less shit but less cool

Looney Tunes

Xmen's origins

Superman's underwear

Batman's utility belt

Doctor Strange's godlike powers

Comics that's space theme (GL, Quasar, Silver Surfer, Galactus, etc)

He-Man

... I should stop now. I'm not hating, I just miss those days when I just watch or read and let my limited imagination do the rest. Now, it's just spoon fed to everybody.

there is some 90s work that is really good I hate when people use the 90s as the age of bad comics when knightfall was written azrael and Harley Quinn was created and kevin smith's legendary green arrow series happened all moments that I think are important parts of comic history, and 90s is when they finnaly stopped saying "blast it" and "heck"Β I hate that it was really corny. not dissing 70s or 80s either but 90s is when characters really developed attitude and a more realistic dialogue and state of mind

Amazing, with Liefeld onboard, Deathstroke looked more like Deadpool than ever.
Strange, indeed.
