I love how much both Stan Twins love the kiddos now and I can so see this happening.
Dipper and Mabel sneaking off to see Ford even if Stan didn't want them to at this point, he would wake and catch them though I just have that feeling.

It's what makes him a better person than his brother whom I dislike. Ford is a bitter, self-absorbed old man who believes every good thing about himself and has turned out more like his father than Stanley ever did. He needs to get over himself.

It was also very clear from the get go that Stan was a lot more like his mother than his father in terms of personality. Ford is too much like his father (Gruff, closed off, emotionally distant, not easily impressed and never considers anyone else and how they feel.) to be all too likeable as of yet (idk, I hope they actually end up getting along, it's been about, what, 30 years?)
He needs to get over it, really.

I agree with you, Ford is definitely more like his dad. Reading your comment, I realized that Ford and his father are very interested in success: Ford in making scientific discoveries, Father with being impressed by achievements.
Ford did get all the funds he wanted for his research, but not going to the right school stole his acclaim.
Stan is fine with, and even prefers, anonymity in his acts, good or bad. Which makes him a better person, I think.

It really does. Stan, for all of his faults, is a better person because he never claims to be better than his peers, spent 30 years of his life trying to save his twin brother from the alternate dimension (even though they hadn't spoken in over 10 years) and always cared about his family, even after being sent away from home. Ford never forgave Stan for a mistake he'd made.

I love how you've drawn these guys. You've captured both their trademark personalities, their original designs, but translated it into you own style and given it your own personal flair. I love how you can keep that cartoon feel, but make their physical build and action more lifelike at the same time.

It's an amazing show. I totally understand not watching a show bc the art style is unappealing to you (which is why I've never watched Rugrats, Normal Show, Ren and Stimpy, etc.), but this show is also filled with lots of heart, genuinely funny, and has a GREAT plot with lots of Easter eggs for hardcore fans.
I recommend it, but again, totally get the not liking the style thing. Then again, I didn't like Phineas and Ferb's style, but that show is the bomb dot com.
