If you're referring to the part of the North African Campaign when the USA was involved, it should either be Fredenhall'sΒ II CorpsΒ and Rommel's AfrikaΒ Korps, or Patton's II Corps and Arnim's Afrika Corps.

Shikamaru's got the Springfield M1903 and Temari has the Karabiner 98k. Both are fitted with sniper scopes.

We both know that the Springfield was a Ally weapon which makes Shikamaru represent the Ally side. With Temari using a German weapon is she suppose to represent the Axis. Any particular Axis country Temari is suppose to represent?

No. The Karabiner 98K she looted from the Sound. The uniform looks like an Afrika Korps uniform but given the fact where she's from I wrote it off as a Sand military uniform. Temari doesn't represent any Axis nation but in fact she's part of a partisan movement. The Sand resistance started as an uprising to which they pushed the Sound back for a small bit (somewhat like Warsaw Uprising) after the Kazekage broke ranks with the corrupted government. However they came back and the retaliation was nasty, resulting in the destruction of most of the Sand Nation and the death of the Kazekage. Baki took the Sand sibs and many others with the weapons and supplies they stole from the Sound and scattered all over, hence how Shikamaru and the Leaf Army met the Sand sibs in Kumokagure.

That's a very good explanation, but I wonder its just a suggestion are you going to do one with the Sound ninja or with Kabuto and Orochimaru with Japanese weapons like the Type 99 rife or the Type 100 sub machine gun?

Oh shit. I misread this. Actually there are no Japanese-style Axis soldiers whatsoever. The Sound represents the Wehrmacht/SS.
