So I love Byakuren. She seems like such a sweetheart, you know? One of the few characters in Touhou that's truly a selfless, kindhearted person. A lot of people like the crazier characters, but I've never been like that. I've always liked the more mild-mannered, nicer characters... She's very special to me.Bleh, though I don't think I did her much justice, if any. Her face is too long. I don't like the line art. The shading's weird.
But if you find a reason to like it, then good for you.
...That scroll was a bitch.

TOTALLY DID HER JUSTICE. Far more justice than I do her. God, I love the shading here, and her scroll is amazingly wonderful... I love how shiny it is and how bright the whole picture is; I love her expression and the shading and everything. I love how you did it, wife, and I personally love this picture quite a great deal. <3

I have not gotten much into Touhou. I do not even know what it means, but all the fanart I have been paying attention too lately has been making me wonder what it is exactly. Anyway...
I like looking at the scroll and each of the indiviual symbols. Did you make up each one up or did you try to cross reference it?

Ah, if you want to know more about it, I could tell you a bit about the series? o: They're quite an interesting set of computer games.
I tried to use her reference as best as possible for the scroll, but I got tired of following it to a T. So after a while I just started making up my own shapes. xD;

Your anatomy improves every time you upload, and you spend so much time on your pictures. I think it really shows. The scroll has a really pretty scroll effect. I personally am not a fan of Touhou at all, but the way you drew her makes me like one of the characters ;u;

D'aw, this is really gorgeous, and I do think it does Byakuren justice. She really is a sweetheart, and it's a shame people don't seem to like her as much as the characters with more explosive, energetic personalities. (I just like the psychos + grumpy people + peaceful emotion-tweakers. xD) This pic is so pretty and colorful, but.. peaceful, she looks so serene and kind of sad. I really like it. <3
