...is the meaning of the name of the Archangel Gabriel. He is a messenger of God and the leader of the Archangels (could've been Michael, but I chose Gabriel
no reason).Another pic for Revolt Against GOD. It's been almost half a year since I posted anything for that!
Yep.So, I went with the same CG technique as the one I used in Jester's Bait [link] It's supposed to be the another pic in my Archangels set (along with 'God is Healing'... which is horrible, I'll probably redraw it). It's pretty blue, ain't it. Well guess what, Gabriel's element is water, so ha! to you.
I hated starting this off though. The inking was craptastic, so I had to clean up everything in Photoshop, WHICH IS SO FREAKIN' LONG. I feel better now
That is all, ikeda out.
*I might rework the background... later.

He looks so beautiful, just like an angel ought to be. I especially love the way you've done the wings; the appearance of multi-layered feathers is really effective.

The ones in the background were made with a brush. The ones on the character were shaded individually.

Shading and soft coloring is extrordinary, and I think the background is perfect, soft and disorted, it makes Gabriel look much stronger and more significant. Very good work indeed.
