High-poly but nowadays it is difficult to say which is still "hi"and what is already 'lo'.
But the fact is that we do not optimize the mesh for games (but i use subsurf modifier to smooth and not use sculpting nor normalmaps)

i've never worked with blender, but heard that it's not so appropriate for character creation.

I'm a little surprised of that you heard.
Blender has full rigging system with bones and shape keys, particle system to symulate hairs, cloths an phisics to simulate wind, gravity, collisions e.t.c. on cloths and hairs, Softbody to simulate fat or gelly tissue ...
Everything you need to do characters. Only the skills you need to get yourself.

i working with 3dsmax. everything you've noticed have in max.

i'm a short time in character modelling, so i need to learn more and more.

Yes. You're right. But the figure is modeled on a drawing. This has resulted in cartoon proportions.

Ohhh why dont you try to use 3Ds MAX or Maya ?

With VRay or Mental Ray the result will be superb !

They are both paid and expensive, and blender is free, and the graphics are just my hobby so I do not see the need to invest money in it.
There is still another reason: I like the blender interface.
I plan to try other rendering engines: Indigo, Yafaray, Luxrender, Kerkythea ...
Cycles, a new rendering engine, which now developed for Blender is also very promising.
I do not have time to learn other programs, because the blender still has many features, I do not know, but I hope that soon I will be able to present a better renderings.

Mogło by być trochę mniej plastikowe, szczególnie twarz i faktura skóry wydaje się trochę sztuczna. Z kolei materiał sukni wyszedł wspaniale. Model ma naprawdę wiele szczegółów i świetnie się prezentuje.

dziękuję! Faktycznie skóra nie wyszła naturalnie i nawet powiem dla czego: robiłem materiał na etapie modelowania głowy i wtedy w zbliżeniu wydawał się ekstra - gładziutki, aksamitny ale nie plastikowy. Ale po wyrenderowaniu z daleka wyszło jak wyszło. Z kolei suknia, a w zasadzie płaszcz jest z daleka ok, ale jak się zrobi zbliżenie to wyłazi pikseloza i wygląda okropnie, bo mam za małą rozdzielczość tekstury. w życiu bym nie pomyślał, że rozdzielczość jest w 3d bardziej krytyczna niż w 2d

czyli najlepiej wyszło to, co zajęło najwięcej czasu - tym bardziej się ciesze, że się podoba. Te tiule i koronki pokażę jeszcze w zbliżeniach, soł staj tjuned.
