"Captain, you know we cannot judge a species from its appearances. Almost all intelligent races are evolved from predators. Their genetic heritage has no bearing on their motivations."

"Lieutenant, are we looking at the same screen?"

"We cannot assume the Jotun were violent or monstrous from their appearance, Captain. Remember your xenomorphic diversity training."

"Fine. But if we ever meet a Jotun, I suggest you don't let it give you a hug."

"Improbably anyway, we believe they were gargantuan in size, though we have no means of determining scale from this image."

"You were saving that one, weren't you?"

"We also believe they had three brains, one for their senses, one for manipulating their bodies and a third for purely cognitive functions. It likely provided them with some telepathic and maybe even telekinetic abilities."
