This artwork is magical.  I love the mist, I love the reflection in the water, I love the mystery in it.  I made a custom Spell card for the Harry Potter trading card game with it.  I hope you don't mind.

This looks so magical and these lights look really like I imagined the "forest souls" in one of my storys. The whole story starts with the protagonist waking up in a dark forest and she's slightly scared, because she doesn't know where to go and she finds flowers next to her and touches them and these lights come out and are happy to see her and fly around her like they're cuddling with her. Afterwards they show her the way through the forest to a forest clearing. Later on in the story when she's awake and in another world she finds this forest and meets these lights again. These forest souls get important, because in this "other" world are diffrent groups of "magicians" who are getting separeted more and more, but they can't live without each other. So these souls lead the protagonist and her friends to the beginning of everything to make them understand how to stop the people getting into a war. Also they can give you a lot of power, that my protagonist will definitely need. ;D This picture is just amazing and helping me a lot more to imagine how these "forest souls" look like.

This is a beautiful piece. This is a magnificent recreation of how I envision will-o'-wisps (I didn't like how Peter Jackson did them in the LOTR movie!). Is this an oil painting?

And thank you very much for a lovely comment! Interestingly enough, it was partly inspired by a computer game from my childhood (Quest for Glory to be precise), so it is actually a somewhat nostalgic piece.

THAT IS EXACTLY THE ONE. I've never found anyone that knew what it was before, but it was a cornerstone in building my interests up to what they are today!

Oh that's awesome! Modern video games are all about the graphics and the violence. They used to be so full of magic and mystery (Of course I was a kid, so EVERYTHING was still full of magic and mystery, but my statement still stands )
