First of all... thank you guys for all the Neon Girl love floating around here for the past few months (years?). I really appreciate it! But like I said, I've been meaning to redesign her for quite a while now. Not to mention, I needed a proper pic of her in my Gallery. XP I tried to keep most of her previous imagery intact. So here it is!

For those who don't know her, she's Neon Girl! One of my OC Megaman Robot Masters. She's a performer / hacker / two faced bitch. For more info, just go here: Neon

As for the redesign... first of all, I made the colors simpler and less vibrant. She doesn't (probably) look too much like a Balloon Girl now. But for the record, those neon tubes on her change color, as per her abilities.

Second, I changed her headgear a bit. I really wanted to put those loopy neon tubes on her head. I wanted it to look like something from an old character of mine (Eclipse ), but somewhat different. That's how I came up with the old design. But after a while, I noticed it looked too much like Jam's headgear ([link] ), only weirder and less cute. And drawing it side view didn't make a very good profile. So I changed it to those bunny ear looking flaps. I wanted some animal ear looking thingies on her helmet anyway. One of the reasons why I was so fixated on the loopies. XP

Third, the skirt really bothered me. The first one was kinda weird and hastily put together. It made her look more outlandish than I would have hoped. I wanted cute, so I arranged them neatly now, looking like a layered skirt instead.

And with the new design elements, I thought she looked too complicated for the classic series now. So I removed some of the older details and just made those part a bit more plain. Actually, I still think she looks too complicated/different for the Classic series. But whatever. She's MY character. XP

Anyway, I hope you guys like the new design. Please do tell me what you guys think.
