This is probably one of the best drawings I have made the traditional way.

If the squid is not as it should look like then don’t kill me, I didn’t use any references on it. Not entirely true, I saw a picture of a baby squid.

The scanner killed most off the shadow on it, and added those ugly white stripes. Going to buy myself a scanner at the end of this month, I am borrowing my mothers which are just not working well.

I used a HB pencil on this one, and then tried some graphite sticks I got from my older sister on my birthday, I was happy they worked and didn’t destroy all the work I had done; used them to darken some off the places.
I added a photo filter after scanning it, it’s called ‘underwater’, isn’t that perfect for this drawing? I think it looks better with the soft blue colour than it did without.

I will probably try to scan it again when I get my scanner, and switch the pictures.
