Traumer smiled and listened as Kia played with Melody. She rubbed the egg in her pouch and smiled.

"I can't wait till your here." She whispered. "You have such a great family."

Melody squealed and Traumer glanced to her.

'Kia and her have gotten really close after...'

Traumer frowned and looked back to the egg.

'Oh yea...Melody sort of...ran off...and Kia saved her...loosing part of her ear...And she has a burn on her eye....cause we fought and she ran off. She...and I don't always see eye to eye....neither do me and Verdy....But the others...They love it here....I mean...so some of them have run off....and Mocha lost her leg....Farren doesn't really talk to anyone....'

Traumer glance up again.

But this time, Kia, Melody, and Inwein weren't smiling.

Kia's head was half covered with blood....Just like when she stumbled in after the fight...Melody looked so sad....like when she ran off....and Winnie...she felt guilty for her easy life....

Scared, Traumer shook her head and got up, rushing to her room.

The others glanced to her with confusion, but didn't stop her.

Traumer closed her door and stared down at the egg terrified.

'I always....but...they seemed so happy....'

So much pain...

So much sorrow....

Traumer trembled and hugged the egg.

"I...I want whats best for you." She whispered as tears raced down her face.

"But...what if....living here....isn't?"
